My eyes are closed but I’m not sleeping,
I’m eating but there’s no taste,
Tears are falling but I’m not weeping,
It all seems such a waste.
I don’t want this to have no significance,
Like breathing in without air,
A being full of indifference,
A life without a care.
We run to find the conclusion,
Not stopping to take a pause,
Lost in clouds of confusion,
Not thinking of the cause.
